About Us


Opened in 1882, the White Hart, has retained the tradition of a comfortable, relaxed and friendly place to catch up with friends for a meal, wine or cold drink. It is so easy to find and pop in right in the centre of the CBD and is a favourite for locals and visitors who enjoy a quiet chat.


During the last 12 months the White Hart and 2 staff members have earned rewards in the local WOW rewards for excellence in customer service.

About us - WOW Rewards Frank and Jeames
Visit us at lunch time to enjoy a tasty “light lunch” from the special Bistro light lunch menu or alternatively select from the Main Bistro menu  for lunch or for dinner in the evening. Our Chef’s pride themselves on their predominantly “housemade” selections, offering something for everyone including Gluten free and vegetarian options.
Our relaxed lounge bar features local and boutique wines by the glass, spirits and a selection of cold beers on tap.....perfect for that staff wind down, pre-dinner drink or after-dinner nightcap.
For those who are planning a celebration, our separate function room is available and seats up to 50 people, however if standing with finger food and drinks it has a larger capacity.
Our Function room is also available for groups organising day or evening meetings and trainings.  Prices are on application, depending on requirements for your event.


About us -Frank  Jenny

Hosts Frank & Jenny Giampaolo have been in hospitality since 1980, and at the White Hart since 1990.
Frank loves chatting and socialising with people, especially chatting about sport, horse racing and football is a passion as he used to play for Melbourne.
Jenny loves people and the buzz of hospitality.

Chef Team


The White Hart Chef team is all enjoy “cooking to please” and are  continually sourcing new dishes to enhance the eating experience at the White Hart Hotel.
The team is lead by Head Chef Jeames Offer, who loves to experiment with new dishes to tantalise Guest’s tastebuds.  
Second Chef Marcus Oakley, loves to prepare a tasty, great value meal so that Customers can’t wait to come back for more.
Apprentice Cody Lucas from Dimboola, enjoys cooking and seeing people happy with the food he prepares.

Melvin Bell – happy to serve you with a friendly greeting
Rob Fry – happy to serve you in the Bar
Nic Gardner – offers a quiet welcome with a smile and provides efficient service for Guests in the Bistro
Kim Fry, Kylie Bone, Jess Deleeuw and Sarah Jolley all take care of customer service in the Bistro and Bar at various times.
